{ Christmas Time is Here! }

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend. We had our little house full of family & it was great! The food was delicious & we had just enough. Whew! I spent some time shopping with my sisters this weekend, along with everyone else in the world! And, of course, I pulled all of our Christmas bins out & got started on decorating for the most wonderful time of the year!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here. I still have so much to do! I feel like Christmas is going to be over before we know it, so I want to get my decorations as quickly as I can. I haven't checked any blogs this weekend so, I'm excited to see what everyone is up to. I can't wait to see everyone's amazing ideas!

P.S. Just wanted to let you know that the { JOY } project that I did in this post looked great but, didn't last. I'm sure I followed the instructions of using a Sharpie & baking it in the oven & everything but, when I washed it in the dishwasher I was able to wipe the { JOY } right off. Bummer! I guess you could still do it but, it would be more for decorative use than real eating off of it use. Just keepin' it real. I didn't want to mislead any of my blogging friends. Sorry!

There's nothing like shopping w/sisters! I might start pulling out my Christmas stuff, but have a pact with myself to keep it simple this year:)

Oh, I'm so glad you told me that (alright, fine, US that). I would have panicked when mine wiped right off! I still love the idea, though!

Well I'm glad you survived having everyone over for Thanksgiving;) I am so not ready for Christmas and need to find some holiday spirit before I go digging through the crawl space to bring out all of the bins! Ugh! I do look forward to seeing all the pretties on everyone's blogs:)

Thank you for the update on the Joy project. I was getting ready to make soup mugs for each of my kids (all seven). That would have been frustrating.

It still is a cute idea!
