{ Wild Hair }

So, I got a bit of a wild hair yesterday & ended up stripping the wallpaper off in the guest bathroom. It all started because Peanut {the 5 year old} ripped a little 3 inch piece off one day. That was about 3 months ago. You can imagine how much it bothered me to walk in every day and see that 3 inch white blotch in the middle of the cranberry wallpaper. I just couldn't take it anymore & ripped it all down.

before

Well, almost. I couldn't get behind the pedestal sink or behind the light fixture, yet. Now what? It looks like I have a new project. Exciting? Yes. Ready to go? No. Since this was so spontaneous, I'm not quite prepared for what I want to do in there. No idea. Any suggestions? :)

after {actually, more like during}

edited to add: The first picture was from a previous post. It's not you, that stool is broken. :)

How funny. I loved the before, but I'm excited to see what you're going to do next! Honestly, I have no suggestions on this one. I'm really into brown and white, with touches of light blue. That's what my bedroom and bath are, and I'm in the process of making it better.

I love that basket with the t.p. and that little stool. Is it lopsided, or is it just me??

I too love that little white wire basket holding extra tp.

And I did take a double take at that stool! Wasn't sure if it was some "artsy" kind of piece! Too funny.

Looking forward to your "ending" pictures!

I am so exicted to see how this turns out....I am redoing our master bath and have painted it a lovely gray blue and am using brown burlap and a coordinating toile for some curtains and a shower curtain....I love your light fixture in your room and would love to know where you found it......can't wait to see what you do with this room....

Wow what a difference with no paper. Love the picture of you in the mirror.

I love that you just got a whim and did this...that's the best kind of project! I would love to add wainscotting to my bathroom if I could, but who am I kidding? My husband would have to do the work...so we'll see!

It's a fresh, clean canvas now...ready for just about anything. I LOVE that you did this on a whim with no idea of what you'd replace it with. I think a pale aqua blue would be lovely on the wall, maybe with wainscotting on the bottom half. If you wanted to funk it up you could add a zebra shower curtain and towels. Or if you wanted something more classic, maybe a black and white toile. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Everything you do always looks fabulous! Keep us posted.
