{ Inspiration: Bedrooms }

When I was redoing my bedroom, I looked to blogs for inspiration. Of course!
And while doing so, I noticed that many blogs out there show almost their entire homes, but not their bedrooms.
I saw a number of really fun/cute/creative kids rooms, but not so many master bedrooms. So, during my searching, I gathered a collection of photos of bedrooms from blogs that I enjoy.
I thought I would share them with you., you know, just in case you're looking for inspiration. :)

So, what is it about not showing our bedrooms?
Maybe, like me, we leave it to the end to decorate because nobody sees it but us.
What do you think?

Hope you have a happy weekend!

I love the one from The Lettered Cottage. One of my favorite rooms.

Oooh those are all great. I love yours...very peaceful. I am so excited to find your blog...all sisters? I will have to go read all about you. I did a post on my bedroom last fall and I found it hard to photograph. It doesn't get enough light. Maybe that's why people don't show them...or maybe they just don't wanna make their beds. :) Lisa~

You are so right. In every home my husband and I have lived in we always do the master bedroom last

You're so right! I don't think I know anyone who got to their master first, or even in the first half of getting settled in. We're still getting settled or rather resettled. We've been remodeling ever since purchasing our 1920 cape cod. I think it's time to tackle our master and get it scratched off our remaining to do list.

Love, love, love the inspiration pics! Thank you in a major way! I'm loving the blue walls, my first color fave was blue. But I'm also crushing on the soothing monochromatic schemes with all the white. But then again I love me a lil' luxe drama. See my issue?! I think my personal hang up is deciding what I want to do with our space.

Love the cocoon effect of the draped wall @ Rocky Bella. I've always loved canopies for the same reason. I keep returning to that type of full wall treatment because we have one very off center window in the room and it would solve the challenge. But then again I've contemplated hanging a mirror & treating it as a window for balance. Maybe it's time to go push pin some fabric up and live with it for a little bit and see how I feel about it.

Gotta comment on your room too! It's such a wonderfully balanced space. I love the play of light with all the white and the wall treatment, balanced by the higher contrast fabric accents & the dark bed! Really heavenly!!!
